For me, being fairly green in the blogging departement, I didn´t really feel the need to blog on my birthday and christmas. So, if you were upset because I didn´t celebrate my birthday here too - don´t! I HAD LIKE THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVERRRRRRRRR!
I mean, honestly. My mother had me baken a lovely chocolate cake at Cupcake´s and we also had lovely salmon (fave food). Got really beautiful gifts (FASHIONISTA BOOK, lovely ring, CASIO WATCH, many many more...) and then - at the evening had a lovely party! I invited all my friends to WÄSCHEREI which is a restaurant near by my appartement. It was really kind of a challenge for me to be HOST because I´ve never been this kind of host-y type. But I think I did actually kinda well in the hosting departement. Then at half past eleven we all went out and went (WE REALLY DID GO BY FEET) to Flex which is some kind of underground club. Every thursday there is this big DRUM ´N´ BASS event and it is the perfect event to really let it all go and just enjoy and dance!
But now, that Christmas and everything is kinda over, NEW YEARS EVE is coming up! Hoooooraaaah! My friends and I said that we could either get drunk and be frustrated because we don´t have anyone we can kiss at 0:00, but then we chose to make it really elegant and graceful - we are having dinner at a friend´s place and we´re not determined to go out because Vienna s kind of a messy place at New Years Eve!
My outfit is ready - but if I didn´t have one these loves would have to be part of it:

SEXY JANUARY

J.J for Versace by Mario Testino

With a little help of my friends ... (Chanel RTW spring 2011)

I have to say that I - at first - didn´t know what to think of the chanel show. There were too many different influences and decades and eras and styles included that I couldn´t quite make out what I liked about it and what not. But now - that I have looked it over again and again - have come to the point where I can say it is quite magical what little german KL had done for us this season.
Let´s start with the basics - the nail lacquer: metallic green - looked like metallic grey at first, but has the same effect: sometimes makes the hand look older, but also adds a cool, edgy touch to romantic or elegant outfits.

The make-up: WELCOME BACK, smokey eye! Well, they have never really been gone, but just remember last season: all the "oooh, let s put on lipstick instead of dark eye make-up" crying make-up artists and the cheering crowd behind them. Actually I find it quite funny that as soon as we say goodbye to some trend we can just as good say hello-again (this season has been full of androgynic and eye-centered looks - the exact opposite from F/W). ´Though not really new, still really fitted in the whole theme as kind of chique and elegant touch. Also loved that the models hat pin-thin lines instead of crests!
Now - finally fashion: This collection - as written above - took me a bit to understand it completely. At first it was just like any other Chanel show - beautiful, black and white ensembles paired with perfect shoes and lovely, delish jewellry (WANT), but then it started to develop in one of my favorite collections so far.

Just look at this wonder of a dress - I would love to see that on someone supersexy and feminine like Thandie Newton or Rose McGraw. The shoes - although I don´t love them as much in gold as I do in black - were BANANAS!! I love the marabu feathers in this collection - they appear so light, but still impress and don´t look tacky or anything.

Carmen Kaas in a light rose dress made of marabu feathers paired with silver gladiator heels - is this perfection - definetly YES!

All in all, I loved Karl Lagerfelds perfect cuts and his delicate shilouettes.
LOVELY AS ALWAYS, KARL!

yours for ever and ever and ever

SPRING 2011 RTW

Sooo, even if you are freezing your butt to death in this exact moment - let´s get it on with this spring and summers fashion!
When I first set an eye on two of the most-trendsetting shows in every season (LV & Prada) I was a bit - too put it nicely - shocked. I didn´t like anything. Normally when I look at pics from LVs shows I am always like "Ooookay, I wouldn´t wear it, but it looks quite perfect" but this time the only thing I thought looked nice was .... well .... maybe the make-up? I like dark lips. Applaud the make-up departement! What I disliked about LV was this whole Asia-meets-twenties-thingy - I just didn´t feel it. And I don´t know why, but to me it feels like sparkle in the summer is like shorts in winter - looks nice, but doesn´t quite feel like the real deal.
With Prada I at least felt love for the bags - especially this one:
It is casual yet elegant and the colour just makes my mouth water - this blue is soooooo puuuuuuurrfect! I think it would even look good when paired with black - actually, anything paired with this bag will look good. Although I hate logos - on this sweet little baby they don´t matter to me.
The clothing - weelll. Not really my cup of tea - too graphic, too abstract shilouettes and way too much zippers. The colours themselves were great, ´though. The shoes too!
So much going on with that shoe: they look as if they were the combination of brogues, espandrilles and nikes - creative, humm?

Being that disappointed I opted for Chanel to be enlightened and look foward to spring...

IF ANYONE WHO READS THIS WANTS TO REALLY MAKE ME HAPPY...

then he/she will give me this dress as a present:
it is sooo gorge, it is from asos - it has a low back (!), sequins all over it (!!!), it shows no cleavage and it is really short --- perfetto for me!

IT IS JUST BANANAS

BIG LOVE

Now that I have my jewellry back - as you might know I left it in the Netherlands - I can´t really bond to it anymore. hahah as weird as it sounds, it´s true. It is not mine anymore. How weird?
Which puts me in the unhappy position of wanting new jewellry, always staring and glaring at the one in magazines and shops and always wanting more, more, more!
Bags -´though I have enough of them already, I can´t stop. My new addiction: prints. Everyone might be fussing about leo this season, but I am more into zebra - i think it looks super cool when paired with bright colours or just a very plain, simple outfit. -> bag from asos.com

Diva-Life - here I come!

Sweeties, I m sorry for not being around the last 20 days, but I just came back from my awesome trip to Aachen and I fell in such a depression (I hated my hometown for like one week, but now we are okay again, thx for asking) that I didn´t feel the need to make other people feel miserable because my dark, sad posts. Anyways, in the last couple of weeks I led fashion slip out of my mind, but now I have to get it in again, because I am doing a presentation of Benettons shocking adverts - which is, if you think of it as a school thing - really fun actually.

Last week has been full of parties - on Friday, sweet Nylonkong (her new site on tumblr: http://ownvouge.tumblr.com/), her beau, my lovely K and her guy stepped out to have a wonderful night. First, we had delish drinks at Motto´s (mandarine-thyme-prosecco) and then came by Take Five to dance, watch a great beat-boxer, and at least for me: to flirt.
I hate to talk about something that isn´t fixed yet, but I am expecting (oookay, just expecting) to meet Mr. XY this weekend. Yesterday I read a wonderful column from my fave german columnist Polly Adler, where she described her friends way of treating men - she basically made them pay for everything and had a quite wonderful life.
Maybe I will think about that more thoroughly. . .

Okay, it is jonas made - but I promise, it is hilarious

Im really sorry for all the music postin´, but I can´t help it!

Crookers Feat. Yelle - Cooler Couler

Love this - had to post.

TV Rock Feat. Rudy - In the Air (Axwell Remix)

FAREWELL TO YOU, lovely monarchists!

I am off to Germany - for such a geek kind of thing.

This song - for me - represents the feeling of total excitement and relaxing, don´t u think?

So, you think you look creepy?

Halloween was kind of ... well ... hard to describe. We had this party at a friends appartement, and things just went weird, not good-weird, just weird. I hate it when I am not in the mood to go out. Was really proud of my drawings on my cheek, though. Sorry for the stupid facial expression - you can see, it was kind of a lame night....

Laura Ashley skirt - inherited from grannie

V-neck: hand-me-down, skirt: vintage laura ashley, bag: H&M, shoes: Zara, necklace: Topshop;

@ Vogue.co.uk

Fab street style always catches my attention, especially when shot in my favourite city of all time: Paris.

I am such a fan of this look - I am definetly going to steal this idea of mix-matching fabrics and different textures. Parisians are sooo creative.
OP always knows how to dress for her body and the occasion.

Goth, but not scary.

 Love the colours!
Great bag - real great dress!
 Very relaxed yet polished look.
Trend-on bag and jeans - I am so in love wih the 7os right now.

She calls her style grannie-like, but I think she looks young, modern and cute.

Finally a way to give plaid shirts more style and too serious outfits bit of spice!

Always wanted to know how Balmain looks in real life - real good, I have to admit. Love the suede and the combo!

Not a real fashion week look, but nice inspiration for a day with the girls!

She is a german editor at Vogue and I love her skirt!

Greeat colours - weird shoes, still a nice way to take pastels into winter.

Dakota Fanning & Kristen Stewart - Cherry Bomb (Video)

HELLO MOM HELLO DAD - I´m your chik-chik-chik cherrybomb

Oookay, i m a bit late with things, I know.

RUNAWAYS - fantastic movie, great clothes and pretty good acting!
Love Dakota Fanning´s clothes for her role as leadsinger Cherie Currie

Look - it really is not my fault

I know I haven´t been round for a while, but my computer kinda broke and so I had to capture my thoughts where they come from: my HEAD.
Just wanted to show you my icons for this fall: very 70s and a bit of 80s glam-rock-disco-feverish kinda vibe. Who can not love this pic with Andy Warhol (Studio 54)? Would´ve died to be there!

Feelin´groovy, you guys!

Early Birthday Wishes

No this is not the name of a metal band - it is the embarassing truth. Birthday´s two months ahead, and I am already certain what I want to get!
Omg I have already posted about these enormously cool earphones by Dolce and Gabbana, but I just can´t stop telling everyone how much I love them. I guess they are super expensive, so I don´t expect to really get them.... But you know dreaming won´t cost something, right?

Who can not love this retro looking watch by Casio. Half my relatives already own one,so I am determined to have one to!
I have spotted Ina Kent´s bags years ago, because her store is next to my best friend´s appartement. And couple of weeks ago, I met her at the Vienna Fashion Week and we got to chat - she is really an inspriing creator and does really great bags for real women.

PS: Of course I know that there are far more important things happening, but you know: to dream can really help you relax. so, chill everyone!
