Zita Buzz

Tomorrow night I have a big black tie event coming up. And as I looked at the invitation I found out that the dresscode says that the ladies have to go knee-length - which is bad, because I wanted to wear my super cute Lipsy dress (on the top right).
I am a total mini-skirt girl. I like to show my legs and I find it more appealing then showing my barely there cleavage. Now I have to go with the left one, it is from Hallhuber and I´ve worn it many times before - I like it, but you know I´m kinda bored of it. I would have loved to wear the other one.
Actually I am a bit down right now. I am suffering from serious headache and I feel kinda fat and ugly. Although I went jogging today and am looking forward to a very nice evening full of beauty treatments and dvds. But still, I am in a bad mood right now.
Anyway - the City premiered yesterday and I loved it. It was so nice to see Whit, Olivia and Roxy again - like meeting old friends. Oh my goood I am such a freak.
Today I met up with my grannie. She is such a witty, modest lady - nobody could ever hate her. She is like super tiny and always smiling. I can talk to her and she´ll listen all the way through my long, complex stories. We are totally alike - in so many ways; we both worry a lot about our loved ones, we both have cold hands and feet and we have to pee all the time when we laugh (oh my god am I really telling that on the internet o.O). I think it is sooo important to spend time with your grannies and grandpas. I only have her, because the others died before I could meet them and so I cherish every minute that I can spend with her. I LOVE YOU!

Finally relaxing...

Yesterday was like crazy. I had so many things to do and couldn´t find the time for anything. But today was great - I got my german exam back and I have an A!! And my biology test was an A too. To finish up my geek post, I think I also did kinda good on the math test we had today. PROUD.

Wearing old H&M utility jacket, old and torn la redoute jeans, H&M shoes and vintage bag;

A Shock at the evening makes you sleep well

These are my new shoes from H&M - I bought them kinda by accident. I found them on the floor and actually I thought they´d belong to someone, but then I saw the tag on them and quickly bought them! They are really comfortable, but they have a big disadvantage. Although I love being in the middle of (positive) attention, I dislike being looked at, because of the sound your shoes are making. I find this abnormally embarassing. Yesterday, for instance, I went to see a play with my classmates and I was late. So ran up the stairs to our seat and when I finally found it, I walked my through the rows. But it was so quiet that everyone heard me and my shoes - I was so embarrassed.
This was wednesdays outfit. I did this photo with my mom, and after that we were supposed to meet with my cousin to celebrate his birthday, but then something terrible happend. My dad COLLAPSED. I have never seen him like this - he seemed so weak and I didn´t know what to do. We called my aunt, who is a doctor and she helped him. He is okay now, but still I haven´t fully recovered from this experience.

This is one wall in my room. It is self-customized, I did in when I had school-off and I found my old, white wall way to boring. My favourite item is the collage a dear friend has done for me. It has lots and lots of pics on it and when I look at them it reminds me of so many things I´ve experienced with her and the fact that she is now in France makes me cry like a baby.

Enjoy life!

Today I am celebrating my cousins 26th birthday!

Honestly, when it comes down to it all that matters is family. Who could live without? I couldn´t and I love every member of my family no matter how often they are annoying and stuff.

For me, fashion counts for family too. Because in my opinion family stands for this certain feeling when you are somewhere or with something and you just feel comfortable and right.

Todays outfit will be online tomorrow because my battery went off :S hate my camera btw.

kisses and hugs for all the b-day boys and girls out there!

The result of my shopping spree

Tee, cuff, skirt & shoes (which you don´t see) from H&M; hat from Greece, ring from fleemarket;

tee from Little Mister and Little Miss; skirt and booties from Zara; tights from H&M;

My favourite book - I love to search in it for outfit ideas and life tips.

I was kinda tired, you know ;)

Really love the skirt because it swings so beautifully, but I gotta watch out when I am dancing, because you can easily see my knickers ;)

Not really beautiful photo, I know, but I thought it looked kinda artsy, don´t you think?

My new nail lacquer love - it is like coral pink. It literally screams summer and it works great with my new beige coloured stuff. Got it from H&M; colour: Check Me Out.

Going out number 2103848765

Yees, I know I am talking a whole lot about going out - but I am a real party girl - cough, cough. Right now I am sitting here writing this and wearing something like baggy sweatpants, loose tee and my glasses. NOT GLAM, I can tell you.

But tonight I am going to glam it on! I am still totally into this one-shoulder-thing and I am going to work it with my body-con skirt. Hope I don´t look to much Kardashian-like. Not that that´s a bad thing, but it is more like american and not high-fashion, I think.

The look from Whit you see on top was one of the looks I couldn´t stop thinking about. It made me buy myself lots and lots of similar stuff and for like months this idea ruled my closet. Just wanted to share with you where I get my ideas from.

New Bod

You know, the bad thing about easter and christmas is that you gain a lot of weight - for me that means something like 4-6 kilos which is enormous! I am not anorexic or anything, but it is just a bit nerv-wracking to gain and gain and gain...

So now I am doing a little bit of a detox thingy which I was encouraged to do by nylonkong. I am eating things like soups made from light veggies and staying away from nuts, cheese and everything fat and greasy.
I am definetly not doing that to loose much weight or something like that - I just want to feel more lean and comfortable with myself. Actually, I do this because I certainly love my body.
On the top you see my two favourite bodys there are in the celebrity world: Blake Lively and Kim Kardashian. If I´d be a lesbian, I´d probably search for girls who alike them. I like it when a woman looks like a woman. Maybe because I am more tomboy-ish and so I adore curves.

I hate the fact that often women who have the honor (yes, the honor) to carry those voluptous bodies don´t feel good and comfortable in them. Everyone has his body-issues, but I guess it´s time that we all begin to believe in our own beauty and start creating a new role model for the coming generations (doesn´t this sound like a speach or something?? ^^).

Love your body, guys, and the world will love you.

BEAUTÉ

Hey, I just wanted to present you my beauty essentials:
These are the two shampoos from the SEBASTIAN Laminates range - they give you fresh, voluminous and shining hair. I also adore the perfume!

This perfume smells like heaven - it is really yummy and fits every upcoming occassion.
This mascara gives you very full, curled lashes - although it is expensive, you should buy it, because it is worth it.

Golden Girls

I´m writing this while waiting for my car to drive me to the countryside. OOh, I am so into nature right now - I can´t wait to see those blossomed ones and the lovely smell will sure make me happy.
I love this photo anyway; sometimes however I dislike those editorial thingy-s but this one is kinda fab because the jewellry is golden - I luuurve golden jewellry. And I´d love to have this one shoulder leather thing the model on the left is wearing.

It´s me - gettin ready for the night!

Being single and free as a bee gives me the oppurtunity to enjoy perfect girl night outs and lots of cocktails... Hope I won´t end up like http://zita-fashionmonarchist.blogspot.com/can´topenmyeyes!
For my outfit I chose to follow a tip my friend Nylonkong gave me: for a night out she transformed her normal tee into a one-shoulder shirt which looked crazily perfect.
Inspirations don´t always come from magazines and stars - often, at least to my opinion, real people are the most inspiring. Authentic, pure, original folks look on fashion are way more interesting than a little Disney-star ones (and their outfits were set up by an overly-paid stylist)...
Outfit for tonight: one-shoulder tee, airy swinging blue skirt, sheer tights, lace-up shoes, vintage bag;
Kisses for all you night-lovers and nightingales!
ZITA

What is in my crazy-lazy head right now...

This tastes fucking good - believe me! I know, it is made from soya - which doesn´t allways taste good, but this thingy here does, infact, it tastes better than normal desserts I´ve tried.
I like to treat myself to it after a long, stressful day full of people telling me what to do and where to go and then I enjoy every bit of it.

I am so in need of apricots right now - just take a look at this colour - it practically screams summer, doesn´t it? It really sucks that there are no apricots at the markets yet, but when they have arrived I´ll be the first one in the row to get some.

I´ve been damn sick and so I can´t do my normal workout, but what I am doing right now to stay fit is Ashtanga Yoga. No, I have no yoga guru who visits me everyday and tells me how to do the sun greeting, but what I do have is a little crappy book which I use since I was thirteen. I love this kind of Yoga - it is strengthening, but still it has this spirit-enhancing sort of appeal, which gives me a more restful and peaceful way of looking at things.

This is a DVD-program which looks way better than mine - maybe I should get myself this...

Guys, I am so in love with the Dolce & Gabbana patterns they did for this unique french-maid meets grunge girl meets whore kinda look. Although I totally disliked their western part, I would kill for those shoes and this flowery print jacket.

Let it flow...

Finally, folks out there, I am sort of alive again. Currently, I don´t feel like my throat would burn, which is - to be honest - the most perfect feeling in this whole world.

To celebrate my healing, I tried Qui-Gong today to make my energy flow again (haha gosh you should have seen me, laughing at this big-muscle-guy trying to let his energy in his body by exhaling like rhino ;)). At first, I have to admit, I felt a little embarrassed because of the weird movements you have to do, but as I moved on it got kind of relaxing and my body really began to flow a bit.

Qui-Gong is not a power work-out and it´s definetly not made for losing weight, but if you seek to feel centered and more grounded, than you should definetly go for it.

I´d recommend doing it at night, because you feel kinda tired after it;

Your centered Zita

Things that spin around in my head right now...

Guys, it´s spring! And I am so freakin proud that my spring wardrobe is nearly finished and ready. All I am searching for are shoes! Although I bought myself those great black suede sandals in Dublin, I still lack high wedges or something like that.

My favourite items for spring/summer are:

my yellow high-waist shorts, my tanks, my trench, my bright coral one-shoulder dress, my olive-coloured silk jumpsuit (really excited to show you that one time), ...

Being ill is kind of perfect for blogging, because now I spent my days blogging and blogging and browsing for things I want to blog...

This is a perfect picture of one of my favourite models: Magdalena Frackowiak. I love her cheekbones and her skinny, almost child-like figure. She is incredibly successful and I think she deserves it.
This is Bryan Greenberg and since he starred in this totally teenage-y, kitschy tv series ONE TREE HILL I am kind of obsessed, no let´s call it .... I like him, okay? I am sort of attracted to his normal-guy-look, and don´t you think that his face tells that he is intelligent? I would be kind of dissappointed to find out that he is not, so I am not doing any research on him anymore... Promise...

Getting myself ready for theatre

Today is the day of picture posting, guys.

Sooo, these photos were taken by me yesterday while I got ready to meet with a dear friend of mine to see a play. Oh my gosh I loved it! It was about a group of boys in the Nazi-time who were taught by a idealistic teacher who did make mistakes but still they loved him. When one pupil dies everything falls apart, including the teachers way of looking at things.

This is kind of a basic outfit of mine, because in Austria people go to theatres quite regurarly and so we don´t dress up for it - which is tragic! How much fun would it be to see a play dressed in a cocktail dress with luxurious jewells and high heels, but still they are people who got to theatre dressed in jeans and sneakers - not that I don´t love them both, but you know there is a fine line between casual and underdressed.
BTW: I hate when people wear hoodies all the time - I understand if you wear it on a day you don´t feel like styling but every-fucking-day? IT IS SO BORING. But maybe there is some other blogger who is posting right now: WHY DO SO MANY GIRLS WEAR CHAIN BAGS AND LEGGINGS ALL THE TIME - IT IS SO BORING. Welcome to the worldwonder internet!

Look, what I found in the attic

The girl with the striped shirt that you can see in the mirror - that´s me!

These are old pics from easter holidays, when Nylonkong and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Naschmarkts NENI.

The night was long and so is the post

Yeah, I already told you about this super cool restaurant MOTTO? And now, thanks to lovely nylonkong I can finally show you some pics we took there. To be honest we were photographing our way through the night - gosh, it was fun.

This is my car btw - it is so easy for everyday-use. ;)
MMMH- which cocktail?? I chose the delish citron-thyme prosecco - a specialty only in the lovely MOTTO.

I was looking out for hot guys - I hardly saw any :(

Isn´t it fab?

Nylonkong and me

The loveliest DJane of all time - I have to have her earphones!

Playing with my globe-necklace and enjoying the wonderful interior

Haha, posing at the loo ;)

Trying to kick the door open

Well, as there were not hot chaps to find, we kinda had to look after ourselves.... hihi

Noooo, we didn´t.

At the end of a night like this all that counts is, that you get safely into your car ;)
And by the way: the hot Asian is one of the best bloggers in Austria - NYLONKONG!
