I am soo in love with this collection - `though I first thought of it as yet another oversexed-Balmainlook-alike, I am now somehow fully convinced. Maybe because the duo put earphones (have to have them, just to wear them to a cool club event) on their models heads and just maybe because they´ve done one of my most wanted bags everrr. Miss Sicilly - you know, I love you, right?

And maybe because they are doing socks in heels as cool as no one else. Okay, you could call the collection way too obvious - considering the amount of precision and thought other designers (such as Elbaz, Tisci or Lagerfeld - to name just a few) put into theirs, it all seems really simple, but not bad, huh? Another reason for my unconditional love might be that they take on modesty (if you can call it modesty when you talk about wearing jackets with no pants) and still make it kind of exciting.

Oookay, I wouldn´t just wear this. But imagine this under a black ruffled skirt oder highwaisted bleached jeans!

Same here - again, black, yes a bit of the same, but still kind of cute - oooh my god, I said the bad, bad word! Bad, bad little ZiTa! Don´t you think too, that nowadays in the times of people such as Lady Gaga, Tavi Gevinson and Frida Giannini (don´t get me wrong, I love them all for different yet simple reasons) it has become sort of unfashionable to look CUTE. Maybe because everyone in the fashion universe (except themselve) is afraid of looking like some hollywood starlet on their debut at the Red Carpet. And, yet another reason to love this collection: it makes you look nice, sexy and cute. Providing that you only weigh 2 kilos.

Saw this combo in Elle Uk (August issue) and sort of fell in love with it - although it doesn´t quite look this good on the runway. By the way - make up and hair are soo classy but still kind of modern, right?

This is Vanessa Hegelmaier. I know her because she was in "Germanys Next Topmodel", but actually didn´t win. And, now - guess what? SHE is waaaay more succsesfull than the actual winner. She is great - I love her features.

I am falling for fall

Guys, it is awefull. And it happens every fucking year. At the end of august I find myself literally longing for coats, scarves, tights, hats, gloves, vests and everything that shouts "COLD!". I can´t resist it! How is one supposed to anyway? Because, when you look at it, every year magazines feed the little fashion-addict (me) with way too much information about last the upcoming season´s trends. 

By now - for the record: 25th of August - I have already singled out my favourites when it comes to winter fashion. Have you? If not, I will now present you what I find so hot that it might warm me in winter.

Thanks to this two fascinating and highly creative guys I am now really addicted to stay-ups.

LITERATURE

After a long artsy experience I needed a rest and took the sub to Thalia and spent over one and half an hour with choosing books for my upcoming vacation to Altaussee. This place is known for Dirndl (so excited to show mine off), rainy weather and a breathtaking landscape. I am definetly looking forward to exercising a lot, reading books cover-to-cover, eating healthy yet great food, doing spas and hiking. Just the little totally active vacation I so longed for.
As you can see on my list below, I am quite a reader... But I will also spent my days with filtering magazine over magazine for fall´s hottest trends and then share it with you. Guess you are super-excited, right??
Could be that I won´t post for the next two weeks, because I am bu-uuuh-sssy, okay??

Today my beautiful cousin and I paid a visit to Albertina. We went there to see the new Alex Katz exhibit and ended up looking at every damn painting in that building.
So, looking around and taking notes of the paintings I adored left me with a huge list of favourites.

this is a Paul Delvaux - i love its creepy gothic feel.

This is by Walton Ford - he specified in doing works that look like the studies from 18th century and combines this technique while pointing out the problems in the modern times.

Hot German Label Part II

Yesterday I treated myself to my favourite holiday routine: eating cereals while watching F-TV. Fortunately, as I switched it on there was a programme about Berlin Fashion Week presented by Mercedes Benz. They presented a label I have known a bit about and their new collection for the next summer season was broadcasted.

Lala Berlin is a german label and although it is mainly known to do more grown-up fashion, I find that their new collection doesn´t come with an age limit.

I love the mix of textures, colours (look at the metallics) and this fresh idea to pair summery clothes with long heavy knit cardigans (which makes it possible to wear the look in spring too).

Pamela Love Jewellry

Normally I am not a rock type of girl, but I have to say that this jewellry really impresses me. The whole hand-made, hard metal look is totally on-trend, but for those who don´t want to try to hard. The prices are ... well okay, if you compare them to Cartier etc. But still 310 € for a ring is too much for a young and pennyless student like moi.

New Obsession

Currently I am taking my ELLE UK August Issue with me everywhere I go. This issue just holds so much wisdom, that I find it inevitably to have it with me all the time.
This month it also featured one of my favourite european fashionistas : JULIA RESTOIN_ROITFELD.
She is the daughter of french Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld (whom I worship).

With her beautifully edgy mom. I love that Julia is way curvier than her mother. She seems so real.

Partying with friends - omg she knows the coolest people - come on, Leigh Lezark?? How cool!

And she got to know God eehm, excuse me Karl Lagerfeld.
