Is it bad if you wear an outfit to a fashion week you could also go hiking in? (FW Vienna pt 2)

These are photos made by me, A and H with A s great camera.
Hilarious facial expression + great shirt = cool outfit

Don´t be too repulsed by how I look. I looked like that, because I ran aroung in heels for like ages and was tired, hungry and over-inspired. This definetly not is the usual me.
My fave stylistas - they put so much effort into their outfits (the purple hat took 7 hours of threading) which definetly was worth it, dont you think?

another addition to my collection

VIENNA FASHION WEEK 2010 @ MQ presented by Vöslauer

Guys, I had an awesome friday!!!
After a boring school day and a frustrating beauty session the night before, I felt I was definetly ready to be inspired. My outfit (pics will hopefully follow later, because dear A hasn´t answered my texts yet) was my priority. I thought I did quite well if you consider that it was my first fashion week.
I paired my khaki trousers (love them) with a v-neck sweater, suspenders and my fave Zara booties. I also wanted to go all glammy and combine this with my fur jacket, but unfortunately the weather was too good for that. I arrived there with A and H; it wasn´t really crowded, and at first the outfits of the other fashion weekers really sucked. prom dresses? yuck.
But then the first show started and we managed to grab a set in the front row. It was DARKSHOW. They only do mens clothing, but it really had me going. The have a really destructive way of using shapes to create a really lose but flattering shape and did leggins for men, which my fellow boys and I agreed aren´t going to be THE trend, but were a cool idea.

I m really sorry about the pictures lousy quality, but my camera is just shitty as can be. CAN´T HELP IT.
Loved the models body and necklaces.

Next  on our list was liniert. I fell for them not only because of their clean almost CALVIN KLEIN - like designs, but because they also do really good charitable things: they designed a wintercoat for homeless people. It is really great idea and I think that everybody should feel inspired by the LINIERT team.

One of my favorite looks by Liniert. This wollen dress looked awesome on this really gorge model and was paired with doc martens (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesoooome). I loved their way of treating "difficult" colours like a really unflattering hue like yellow by pairing it with an understatement colour and - again - docmartens.
Between the show there was pure anarchy and chaos. It seemed like EVERYONE wanted to get to the next show. But still, it was worth every fight.
Although I didn´t quite like the designs of Kayiko, I loved their way of treating fashion in general. They had a really playful touch and also the models seemed really relaxed and if they were actually having fun.

yeees, I know. My camera is real shit. Because in the middle of the awesome TIBERIUS show it broke down and left me filming the looks with my mobile phone. Still, it was great. Although I first thought that the looks were way too obvious and mainstream, I loved many outfits. For instance: a lace dress with long arms and a short hem and at the behing a big, lush leather (!!!!!!) bow paired with a top hat.

The best show was SUPERATED - grafitti like colours, men in high heels, plastic trousers paired with wool cardigans, loafers with huge tassels, thick white socks, crocs (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and much much more. Really inspiring!!!!!!

monarchistic footwear I call it

Wang-tastic and Proenza-fine

I am in love with next seasons fashion.
Proenza Schoulers (http://www.style.com/video/fashion-shows-by-season/spring-2011-rtw/606445213001/proenza-schouler-spring-2011-rtw/610288777001) crazy version of lady-like style is absolutely gorgeous they pleayed with subversive texturs and strange colours and still mangaed to make it not look like Tavi Gevinsons closet (´though I love her style, let´s face it: it is not rtw).

Although I am not quite sure about Alxander Wang´s way of interpreting all-white looks (I think they looked like some strange woman´s clothes) I like that he did his own take on all those summery colours like turquoise, coral and even did light fabrics. I loved the torn apart details and duct tape, and also those shapeless dresses not only looked super-comfy but also really interesting and new.
Dear Alexander, I will always love you (okay, it might depend what you do next season, but who cares...)

DARKSHOW

http://www.notjustalabel.com/darkshow
Darkshow at not just a label. com - so excited to take a look at their designs at vienna fashion week.

I got my mind set on you

Having a wonderful cozy night at home and really enjoying the fact that I partied every weekend in the past month (taps herself on her shoulder).
Being at home and lounging around in comfy clothes and without make-up gives me the oppurtinity to share things with you guys I am thinking bout for days.
Welcome to my crazy hazy mind:
Like EVERYONE (including sweet, highly talented and handsome singer Alex Turner) I am crazy about Alexa Chung. She is no goddess, she is REAL. Just what I was asking for.
Just because we are talking about hair....

Always wondered why AW wore a platinum blonde wig. Never found out about that - if anyone knows, please let ME know.
`though is highly commercialised nowadays, I find him still extremely inspiring. And I think it is enormously flattering for a human being that nearly everyone on this planet knows your name and what you have achieved.
Thinking about art....
This year DOM PERIGNON will launche its Tribute to Andy Warhol edition - looks crazily perfect to me!
Yesterday I did a job-questionnaire and my result was: gallerist - 95 %. Another highly artsy person in the blog universe is Pandora (Louise Ebel) who is studying History of Arts at Sorbonne in Paris. I envy her for her closet, her money, her luck for living in the BEST city in the world and for her great relationships to people who do pretty photographs of her.
Fashion brings us to...........

Next week I hope to attend Vienna Fashion Week!!!!! So excited.

Outfit decisions...

Right now deciding on what to wear tonight.
This is not a normal event, you know? Tonight someone I got to know last year (exacty one year ago on his birthday) celebrates his 19th b-day today. I got invited, but I really can´t thnk of a definite reason why so. Because I have never talked to him again after the "incident" we had on his 18th birthday (including heavy smooching in middle of EVERYONE) and I never intended to be friends with him, because after the first date (if you can call sitting around and deciding wether smoking pot is cool or not a date) we had I was kind of "healed".
Sooo, you kinda get why I am having problems with deciding what to wear? I do want to look good, but not like I dressed sexy to impress him. And not like I want to prove to him, that I am sexy but he still won´t get me. Has any designer yet created a look-at-me-I-am-hot-but-you-will-never-ever-get-me dress? How about you Alber? Give it a try, please!

I don´t know where and when but I can remember that someone (wooooh, yes, I am a bit tired - I am sorry, okay??) told me that spikes on clothes cry "Watch out" and keep guys at bay. If I´d believe in this, I bought myself this bag from AW - Oooookay, if I had the money I´d buy it anyway! Couldn´t anyone who knows me get it for me fake???? Maybe someone who currently stays in Turkey?????
Matching outfit would have to be this:

This sooo was my time

Weeks ago I watched "Factory Girl" starring Sienna Miller (love her and guys, she can act) and Hayden Christensen (yummy). The whole vibe of this film with all his influences from the fantastic Sixties era was so inspiring that I wanted to post it immediately, but couldn´t, because my computer (we hate each other at times, which wouldn´t matter if he wouldn´t hate ME more than I do him) wasn´t working.
Anyway, here are the pics.
OMG: fur, cigarettes in public areas, pixie cut, boots, leo, back-baring dresses - I want you all!

A little bit of history on my last day before "it" starts all over again

Went to "Westlicht" today which is a photography gallery in the 6th district of Vienna. I saw an exhibition about Jochen Rindt, an austrian race driver back in the early 70s. I loved the photographs which showed his beautiful finnish wife Nina. She had an incredible style and always wore a green hat when going to her husbands races (shown above).
Tomorrow a lovely friend of mine celebrates her 17th birthday! So excited to give her my gift!
Love you all - enjoy your last day in freedom!
