"You stammered your way right into my heart"

Just came from the cinema - saw "The King´s Speech" which I thought was lovely and which made me love Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, Geoffrey Rush, british quirkiness and accent much much more. It is such a delightful film and it makes believe that ever flaw you might have can be changed into something beautiful and strong.
Also the film is set in an era which I adore: the Twenties and the Thirties which - in my opinion - have been awfully elegant and chique. Back then pearls were seen as hip and "trendy" and you could wear a long, flowy skirt and everyone would love your outfit! What a refreshing thought if you consider that today most people believe that sexy and stylish is all about showing much and much more. I tend to sound a bit granny I know  but I would love to have a bit more grace and elegance in fashion and the modern world.

Go and treat yourself to this perfect movie! Not only because it received two Oscars!

Just because you will love it.

Yesterday I also went to the museum and saw a wonderful exhibit about jewellry from the beginning of the 20th century. I loved the french jewellry which was handcrafted by a man called Lalique and his works are AMAZING with a capital A. It was extremely inspiring and I even thought about outfits I could wear with this delicate pieces of art.
I also popped into a collection of FLORENTINA PAKOSTAs workings which nearly made me cry, because her paintings were the most honest and ironic I have ever seen. She uses tools like lipstick, pens and chalk and it looks stunning. Some of her late works made me think of this seasons bold colours and I thought about having them printed onto a skirt.

JE T´ADORE ANNA

I saw one of the most visually stimulating films ever! "Coco Chanel & Igor Strawinsky" It carefully tells the tale of two creative minds which clash together and end up being in love with each other.
Every moment seems to be perfectly captured - of course all the beauty of the film would be nothing without its star - Anna Mouglalis whom I have loved for quite a long time now.
She is a muse of the big Karl which should tell you in one second how elegant, sexy and modern she is.

HOUSE OF HARLOW 1960

I am - like EEEEEVERRRYONE - totally in love with Nic Richie s Jewellry line House of Harlow 1960!
I would die for a necklace like this

FENDI-LICIOUS

Guys, I am doing this to prevent me from doing the same mistake every year. Normally, when the photos of several Spring runway shows arrive, I look at them, think of what I want and then I end up being obsessed with some of the pieces in JANUARY. And then I buy some things. But in May I find out that I haven´t got anything and I head out again only to realize in August that I still crave for this and that. So I promised myself, this year will be different.
My wardrobe will definetly need more than one pieces with a bright, vibrant colour. No more black, sweeties - colours are here to stay. I looooove Fendi Spring (except the shoes - I very much prefer Prada) for its versatile collection - it offers something my mum, I and my grannie would wear and love. I am addicted to orange and light blue and peachy pinks - you see, this will definetly be a dream come true for me this summer.
Loooooove for make-up and hair. I think it is way more modern to have flat hair in summer than the curly which EVERYONE would normally do. And the bright pink lipstick is definetly a go-to!

What I always find hard is to decide what to wear when going out in Spring. Because in winter, black seems cool, sexy and simply the best choice but in summer it feels way to heavy and dark. So Fendi offers us a little Studio 54 glam to vamp up our summer wardrobe. Love the purple jumpsuit.

Hopefully I´ll be finding many colourful pieces in lovely COTE D´AZUR which is where I will be heading in spring. I love France for shopping - decided to only shop whenever I get there!
