Guys, I had an awesome friday!!!
After a boring school day and a frustrating beauty session the night before, I felt I was definetly ready to be inspired. My outfit (pics will hopefully follow later, because dear A hasn´t answered my texts yet) was my priority. I thought I did quite well if you consider that it was my first fashion week.
I paired my khaki trousers (love them) with a v-neck sweater, suspenders and my fave Zara booties. I also wanted to go all glammy and combine this with my fur jacket, but unfortunately the weather was too good for that. I arrived there with A and H; it wasn´t really crowded, and at first the outfits of the other fashion weekers really sucked. prom dresses? yuck.
But then the first show started and we managed to grab a set in the front row. It was DARKSHOW. They only do mens clothing, but it really had me going. The have a really destructive way of using shapes to create a really lose but flattering shape and did leggins for men, which my fellow boys and I agreed aren´t going to be THE trend, but were a cool idea.
I m really sorry about the pictures lousy quality, but my camera is just shitty as can be. CAN´T HELP IT.
Loved the models body and necklaces.
Next on our list was liniert. I fell for them not only because of their clean almost CALVIN KLEIN - like designs, but because they also do really good charitable things: they designed a wintercoat for homeless people. It is really great idea and I think that everybody should feel inspired by the LINIERT team.
One of my favorite looks by Liniert. This wollen dress looked awesome on this really gorge model and was paired with doc martens (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesoooome). I loved their way of treating "difficult" colours like a really unflattering hue like yellow by pairing it with an understatement colour and - again - docmartens.
Between the show there was pure anarchy and chaos. It seemed like EVERYONE wanted to get to the next show. But still, it was worth every fight.
Although I didn´t quite like the designs of Kayiko, I loved their way of treating fashion in general. They had a really playful touch and also the models seemed really relaxed and if they were actually having fun.
yeees, I know. My camera is real shit. Because in the middle of the awesome TIBERIUS show it broke down and left me filming the looks with my mobile phone. Still, it was great. Although I first thought that the looks were way too obvious and mainstream, I loved many outfits. For instance: a lace dress with long arms and a short hem and at the behing a big, lush leather (!!!!!!) bow paired with a top hat.
The best show was SUPERATED - grafitti like colours, men in high heels, plastic trousers paired with wool cardigans, loafers with huge tassels, thick white socks, crocs (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and much much more. Really inspiring!!!!!!
