REJECTION

Ookay, this is going to be highly philosophical, so sit down and take a deep breath....

A couple of days ago I wrote to several magazines, because I just wanted to contact the world I want to live in, practically. I didn´t expect them to write back, but actually InStyle Germany send me an E-mail telling me what I´d have to do if I wanted to get apprenticeship. I was stunned! I mean, honestly, they were sending me something back! Thex have not just deleted my little crappy e-mail. I am reading this magazine for several years now and so - yes, I am freak, but you should´ve already come across that, right?? - I know some names of the fashion director and so on. And those names appeared in my e-mail. Okay, to normal, sane people this may not be fabulous but for me it is like I am one centimetre away from heaven!! But then I really read the e-mail and found out that I am way to young. They only want people who are already studying - which I am not. Crap!
Yesterday I met this great guy, we didn´t really got to talk, but then in the evening I tried to contact him, but til now he didn´t answer - still, I am really happy that I had the courage to do so.
Rejection is not something you will be safed off, it is something you will have to get used to. Listen to me: if you want to get a Yes someday, you will have to the Nos along the way. OMG I am actually rhyming - how childish...
