Glitz and Glamour

Here you can see my favourite glitzy stuff. There are so many pieces which really mean a lot to me. Jewellry is a bit like little memories, because whenever I look at that bracelet or this cuff I start to remember what I experienced having them on or how I got them or who got me them. There are many, many stories and they make me happy whenever I feel miserable.

As you can see, I love to wear black and golden jewellry, but since my addiction to SatC took off I am also fond of pearls, because I love the way they look on young girls like me. They are a bit grandma-ish, I know. Everyone at school is always like "oooh, you are wearing pearls??", but I don´t care, because pearls are so funky and classic at the same time. Better wearing them now with torn shorts and paillette-vests than with a black dress when you are like 45 or something (not that that´s a bad age or anything).

I am so pissed right now that I can´t wear my trench. It is march for heavens sake - aren´t we supposed to have it warm right now? or at least: warmer. And whilst I am writing this, it is snowing outside. :(
Although I am so not into the whole red-carpet thing, because I think that that´s not fashion as for me fashion means real people wearing nice, interesting and individual clothes and not everybody the same nail polish and dresses. It is such a industry thing!!!
But I loved SJPs dress, it was a classic and she looked amazingly elegant and graceful (I feel like a grandma saying that). I adored the jewellry she wore, those dark brilliant-studded bracelets and they way she combined them with the embellishment on her chanel number - amazing.
Her hair was perfect too. If I had (hahaha, if I somebody forced me) to go there I would like to look like that too. It looks relaxed, chique and beautiful. I also like the fact that it doesn´t look too sexy, because the Oscars aren´t the place to be sexy in my opinion...
