Sometimes life is about the simple stuff

Although I love magazines (OMG i repeat myself) I hate the way they force trends and stuff. They usually pick one trend and then that´s the only thing to wear... But in real life, individuality and personal style are more worth than being a little, dumb trendfollower.

But I kind of like denim right now. I have a lot of denim pieces...

For instance for my last birthday I got this really nice denim chain bag from Mango... I love this bag, because it is light, it has sort of a medium size which is perfect for me, because I can use it for school, going out and shopping, it has lots of in-door compartements and it comes in a light blue denim, which totally takes on the current trend...

Or my levis shirt. It was originally owned by my dad, but a few months ago I stole it (sshhhh, don´t tell anyone ;) ). I know it is a bit weird to wear your dad´s shirt when you want to take on the "boyfriend"-look, but who cares, right?

When it comes to denim, you have to choose: do you want to go high-fashion (acne on the top left) or cheap looking (dolce & gabbana).

I really dislike the whole western thing... Do YOU want to look like that? And those high-waisted hot-pants are way too much I think, it always seems as if they were trying too hard to get the buyers back.

For me, Alexa Chung should be crowned the Queen of Denim, because she manages to make denim look laid-back, classic, chique and kind of creative at the same time.
