Yes, I know what you will say: oh my! That´s soo last season. Yes it is - of course! Because, hello, we are still in this season, at least sort of. Because as our damn climate doesn´t change a thing these days it still seems as if we were in the middle of decembre or something. And I m of course still trying to look good and kind of stylish when I m freezing my way through town. So, last Octobre I bought myself a pair of over-the-knee-boots. I got them from Zara and I wore them to death. Literally. Because now, five months later they look scattered, torn and punished. I can´t help sighing when I look at them.
But maybe that´s what happens, when times (and seasons) change: old things pass away and new things come up. But you know, I m still in mood for my perfect boots. They made me feel perfect and they were warm at the same time. I can only hope that I will find something like that for spring/summer. Weeeell, in fact I found something like that already, but I m going to tell your more about it in the next couple of days... SHHHHH!
Let´s talk about the present things. This season (by which I mean spring) will be ruled (at least for me) by mix´n´match. I love sequins, embroideries, funny fabrics, patterns and all this nice sounding stuff. It´s so exciting to slender through stores and search for this and that. When it comes to patterns, there has been a whole lot on the catwalks. The best for me were Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenberg. I love the yellow-green-blue shirt you can see on the top right. It´s just soooo crazy and tacky, it feels right.
