Things I love about Paris

  • the people. I know, when you come to Paris, everyone is like: be aware of the bad-tempered inhabitants! But actually, as I found out, they are kinda nice! They even helped me carry my luggage through the labyrinth or how they call it: metro. I have never experienced anyone impolite, but I did see tourists who would deserve such behaviour...
  • Ladurée. I am not a chocoholic, which is to be honest not totally fashionable. Because today cholocate is soo trendy, that you really stand out (in a bad way) when you don´t eat it. But Ladurée has such a nice interior and this one waiter was such a hottie, that I couldn´t help loving the place as much as a chocoholic´d love it.
  • obviously: the fashion. For me, Paris is like a big jewellry box (like my mum´s) which I like to explore when I´m bored and the only alternative would include mental work. You can buy so many different things and it´s all about looking the way you want and not the way a fashion magazine or a designer wants you to look. Paris stands for indiviuality and inspiration.
  • Marais. I went to Paris last summer and in the two weeks I stayed there I went 10 times into Marais, which is the most beautiful district of Paris (from my point of view). It´s full of history, it´s jewish (hell, how cool is that??), it has lots and lots of bakeries, pastries and stuff (yummy!) and there are like millions of little shops - especially vintage ones. They are great and quite unique.

There are so many things left on my list, but I don´t want to tell you everything: Paris is a city you have to explore on your own. It is full of perfume, incredibly good food, very good-looking and charming guys and lovely ladies.

Outfit on upper picture: dress, vest, sunglasses: h&m, necklace: monsoon, bag: longchamp, sandals: pimkie (eeeuuuuuw, I know, but they are great, believe me)
